You are not a piece of technology. You are a human. And you are meant to grow at your own pace.
Not at the rate at which your tools change.
There are countless articles out there that talks about how social media has killed our attention span. How instant applications, deliveries, and tools have made us expect more from the world.
But it has also made us expect more from ourselves. That is the real insidious thing.
I was talking with my friend Leo who told me that ChatGPT has been incredible. He was able to learn and figure out how to do things a lot quicker.
Of course with that came the expectation that he had to do all those things do. And he believed it…because of course! Now you could!
But we aren’t pieces of technology. We are not unfeeling machines who can operate 24/7 and crank out output.
Real epiphanies take time.
Change takes time.
We are not machines. We are human.
